What your first 30 days actually look like.
Seven stages, start to finish. Every stage states what happens, what we need from you, what you receive, and how long it takes — so you can plan around us, not guess.
Discovery call
You talk directly to a senior engineer, not a salesperson. We ask enough about the problem to tell you honestly whether we're a fit.
Show up with the problem, not a polished deck.
A same-day recommendation — proceed to a scoping engagement, or a referral if we're not the right fit.
NDA & scoping agreement
We execute a mutual NDA — pre-cleared, signed in under 24 hours — and send a fixed-fee scoping statement of work.
Sign the NDA and the scoping SOW; grant read access to any existing systems we need to see.
A signed NDA and a dated scoping engagement with a fixed price.
Scoping & architecture
We produce an architecture sketch, a technical risk list, and a staffing plan sized to the actual problem — not a generic template.
Answer technical and business questions from the assigned engineers; make a technical decision-maker available.
A written architecture document and a build proposal: pricing model (fixed-fee, time-and-materials, or equity+cash), team size, and start date.
Kickoff
The assigned team is provisioned — repo access, CI/CD matched to your stack if we're embedding alongside your own engineers — and a communication cadence is set.
Introduce internal stakeholders; grant infrastructure and repo access.
A kickoff document, the first two-week sprint plan, and a named point of contact.
Build sprints
We ship working software every sprint — not slides, not a burndown chart.
Attend the sprint demo; give feedback that changes next sprint's plan.
Working software every two weeks, a recorded demo, and an updated roadmap.
Launch & handoff
Production deployment, monitoring wired up, and a structured handoff — pair-programming sessions and recorded architecture walkthroughs, not a document dump.
Run user acceptance testing and sign off on launch.
A live system, full ownership of the codebase and infrastructure, and recordings your team can use after we're gone.
Post-launch
We fix anything that breaks in what we built, at no extra charge, for 30 days.
Report issues as you find them.
A 30-day warranty period, plus the option to extend the engagement or move to a lighter support retainer.
What's included, what's not.
No surprise invoices. If it's not on this list and it's not in the signed SOW, it's a change order — never scope creep.
Included
- Discovery, architecture, and a written technical risk assessment
- Senior-only engineering — no junior bench, no offshore handoff
- Two-week sprint cadence with a live demo every sprint
- CI/CD matched to your existing stack when we're embedded in your team
- Mutual NDA plus pre-cleared HIPAA BAA and DPA templates
- Full codebase and infrastructure ownership handoff at the end of the engagement
- 30-day warranty period on anything we shipped
Not included
- Your own cloud hosting, infrastructure, or third-party licensing costs
- Project management for stakeholders outside the engineering scope
- Work outside the signed statement of work — new scope goes through a change order, not scope creep
- Indefinite free support after the 30-day warranty window (available as a paid retainer)
- Design assets or brand strategy, unless scoped explicitly as part of the engagement
Ready to see it start?
Stage one is a 30-minute call. No obligation, no slide deck — just an engineer and your problem.
